Hi it’s Sir
Ronald and we have another amazing blog for you today. We have been looking
into the green screen more and would like to share with you. We had our first
try at filming with the green screen! I even was lucky enough to be a news
presenter. We might be making our first news entry in the next few weeks. We
will tell you more and inform you about everything. Thanks for reading.

Safer Internet Day
Today is Safer Internet Day!
Children at John Bramston have been reminding each other of ways to be safe online and have begun to think about the good digital deeds we could do to help make the Internet a better place in the future.
The Digital Leaders and Article 12 Ambassadors had a special video conference with some members of the Redbridge police force. They listened to our ideas about Internet safety and gave us some really useful feedback. They really seemed interested in the JB sugestion of a 'Google Junior' (just for kids).
A big thank you to the parents who came for our parent sessions yesterday. To those of you who weren't able to make the E-Safety sessions, we were discussing the importance of starting a dialogue at home with your children about their Internet use - always being aware of where they are going online, what they are viewing and who they may be talking to.

And another...
One more exceptional piece from two Year 4 students:
Well done to all the children involved and all the others who have been making short films too. These movies were 100% filmed, uploaded, edited and saved by the children themselves.

Movie Making
Here's an example of a movie we have made that uses continuity and multiple cuts:

Movie Making
In digital leaders we have been doing movie making. We have been learning about continuity. Continuity is when movies cut from one scene to another. We don't like to show a clip for more than eight seconds. We used the iPads to film our short action clips with continuity.

Movie Making
Hi, this is Sir Ronald.
For the past few weeks in digital leaders we have been learning how to make
movies. First we had to film about 5 different cuts of a movement from
different angles on the iPad. Then we went on the computer to windows movie
maker and we had to crop the bits that we did not need to make good continuity.
Continuity-
To make several cuts and put them together at different angles.
Sir Ronald- That’s
